Needless Destruction of Bald Eagle Habitat

Really? I mean Really? Did you have to destroy the lone dead tree over Swimming River Reservoir spillway that the bald eagles would perch on each morning? You must have seen them there with their majestic white heads in the barren tree? Were permits to clear-cut this area given? Didn't anyone at the job say, let's work around this tree or area? These are endangered species!
