Students At The David C. Abbott Early Learning Center Vote
Students at the David C. Abbott Early Learning Center recently exercised their rights and voted for their favorite yearbook cover.
Adults weren’t the only ones voting on November 4th. Students at the David C. Abbott Early Learning Center recently exercised their rights and voted for their favorite yearbook cover.
With election season in full swing, students at David C. Abbott Early Learning Center got in on the act. In the days leading up to the vote, teachers taught students about voting, choice, and the democratic process. Teachers have even incorporated voting and choice into their daily classroom procedures.
The school community came together to make this possible. DAELC PTO dad, Cesar Costa, created our ‘official’ student voting booth. On the big day PTO parent volunteers and teachers helped over 300 students vote, making the event a huge success!
