• NJ Detective Accused Of Pepper-Spraying Suspect, Lying About It, Is Indicted (patch.com) — A Trenton police detective who lives in Marlboro Township has been indicted on misconduct, perjury, assault, and weapons charges tied to a 2022 pepper-spray incident. Prosecutors allege he violated New Jersey’s use-of-force policy and then filed charges based on false statements. The officer, suspended without pay since 2024, has a separate civil suit alleging antisemitic treatment within the department.
