Heroin Bust At Monmouth County Holiday Inn
When called to help a sick child, police unearthed a massive drug stash at the Hazlet Holiday Inn.

Hazlet Township Police announced Friday morning they uncovered nearly 1,000 packets of heroin at the Hazlet Holiday Inn this week.
Early on Tuesday morning, Hazlet Police Officers Russell Surdi and Patrick Kiley responded to a First Aid call for a sick child at the Hazlet Holiday Inn.
While helping the child, police discovered heroin packages in the same hotel room, officials said — a final count revealed almost 1,000 heroin packets and other drugs.

Officers arrested the woman who rented the hotel room, and was present when the massive drug stash was found. Robyn Brown, 27, of South Amboy, has been charged with multiple narcotics offenses.
A call to the Hazlet Township police asking the condition of the child was not immediately returned.
