2 Teens Charged With Car Theft From Matawan Driveway Last Week
Matawan Police say they've located two men who they say stole a Toyota Tacoma from a resident's driveway last Thursday.
MATAWAN, NJ — Matawan Police say they've located two men who they say stole a Toyota Tacoma from a resident's driveway last Thursday.
The two men, ages 18 and 19 and both from East Orange, are charged with that car theft and breaking into other parked cars.
The homeowner called police to report their 2020 Toyota Tacoma was stolen from their driveway on Johnson Avenue sometime during the overnight hours. Several other cars in the area were broken into during the same time period.

After an extensive multi-state investigation, Matawan Police say they arrested Joshua E. Davis, 18, and Meranvialle Mickenson, 19, and charged them with motor vehicle theft, three counts of burglary, theft, criminal mischief and conspiracy.
The two teens are currently lodged in the Washington County (Maryland) Detention Center. They were arrested in Maryland on unrelated charges and are pending extradition back to New Jersey.
