Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests August 8, 2018 through August 21, 2018:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests August 8, 2018 through August 21, 2018:
- On August 8 Det. Louis Nanna arrested a 32-year-old Keyport woman and a 34-year-old Middletown woman for shoplifting at the Shop Rite store on Lloyd Road on August 6. P.O. Mary Johnston took the initial report.
- P.O. Frank Maisano arrested a 29-year-old Helmetta man on a contempt warrant out of North Brunswick municipal court following an incident on Smith Court on August 8.
- A 42-year-old Marlboro man was charged with violation of a court order following a motor vehicle stop on Lloyd Rd. on August 9. He was also wanted on a contempt warrant issued out of Monmouth County Superior Court. P.O. Michael Monteiro was the arresting officer.
- A 45-year-old township man was charged with terroristic threats and weapons offenses following an incident at Ken Gardens apartments on Matawan Ave. on August 11. P.O. Martin Walsh was the arresting officer, with assistance from Sgt. Matthew Lloyd and P.O. Ronald Osadacz.
- P.O. Vincent Schifini arrested an 18-year-old Plainview, NY man for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on August 14.
- A 31-year-old township woman was charged with simple assault following an incident on Phillip E. Frank Way on August 16. P.O. Vincent Schifini was the arresting officer.
- On August 16 P.O. Bruce Monro arrested an 18-year-old township woman for shoplifting at the Shop Rite store on Lloyd Rd.
- On August 16 P.O. Bruce Monro arrested a 59-year-old Matawan man on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen and Old Bridge municipal courts following a motor vehicle stop on County Rd.
- A 41-year-old man from Matawan was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and several other motor vehicle offenses following a motor vehicle crash on Lower Main St. on August 19. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer, with assistance from P.O. John Zeller.
- On August 21 P.O. Vincent Schifini arrested a 30-year-old Edison woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
Other police activity during that period included:
Officers responded to or initiated 622 calls for service between August 8 and August 21, 2018, including 22 suspicious persons/vehicles; 51 alarms; 48 first aid calls; four domestic violence incidents, five thefts, two burglaries, three criminal mischief incidents, twelve noise complaints, ten disorderly persons, nine frauds, ten motor vehicle crashes, five crisis intervention calls, one overdose, and 230 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 215 summonses.
