Aberdeen Twp. Police Blotter For Month Of February

Aberdeen Police published the February blotter Monday morning, March 4. Here are all the arrests:

ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township Police Department made the following arrests February 1 through February 29, 2024:

On February 1 an 82-year-old male resident of Aberdeen. NJ was charged with defiant trespassing and obstruction of justice following an incident at the ShopRite Food Store. Ptl. Evan Guastaferro was the arresting officer.

On February 7, a 23-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Hazlet Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Royce Tucker was the arresting officer.

On February 9 a 28-year-old male resident of Elizabeth, NJ was charged with harassment following an incident on Cliffwood Avenue. Ptl. Royce Tucker was the arresting officer.

On February 10, a 51-year-old male resident of Keansburg, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court. Ptl. Andrew Gioia was the arresting officer.

On February 10, a 38-year-old male resident of Neptune, NJ was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident on Aberdeen Road. Ptl. Royce Tucker was the arresting officer.

On February 10, a 37-year-old male resident of Red Bank, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 35. Ptl. Thomas Wagner was the arresting officer.

On February 11, a 27-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on warrants issued by the Aberdeen Township and Borough of Red Bank Municipal Courts. Ptl. Samuel Benson was the arresting officer.

On February 11 a 40-year-old female resident of Old Bridge, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. Hakim Bryant was the arresting officer.

On February 16 a 36-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on Cliffwood Avenue. Ptl. Thomas Wagner was the arresting officer.

On February 16 a 33-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on warrants issued by Aberdeen and Hamilton Township Municipal Courts. Ptl. Andrew Gioia was the arresting officer.

On February 20 a 44-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with aggravated assault, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest following an incident on Glassworks Boulevard. Ptl. Christopher Shaw was the arresting officer.

On February 20 a 24-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with obstruction of justice and resisting arrest following an incident on Glassworks Boulevard. Ptl. Christopher Shaw was the arresting officer.

On February 22 a 47-year-old male resident of Atlantic Highlands, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 35. Ptl. Samuel Benson was the arresting officer.

On February 25 a 31-year-old male resident of Queens, NY, 20-year-old male resident of Queens, NY, 29-year-old female resident of Queens, NY, 21-year-old female resident of Hamilton, NJ and a 24-year-old male resident of Hamilton, NJ was charged with shoplifting following an incident at the Aberdeen ShopRite. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.

On February 28 a 65-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following an incident on Myrtle Street. Ptl. Hakim Bryant was the arresting officer.

On February 28 a 33-year-old male resident of Hazlet, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Aberdeen Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Robert Galati was the arresting officer.

It should be noted that all arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Aberdeen Police officers responded to or initiated 1,309 calls for service between February and February 29, 2024, including 58 motor vehicle accidents; 37 alarms (house/fire); 2 assaults; 1 burglary reports; 8 criminal mischief; 6 crisis interventions; 13 disorderly persons; 8 domestic disputes; 4 fire calls, 123 first aid calls; 7 frauds; 11 harassments; 2 M.V thefts; 0 narcotics; 20 thefts; 3 trespassing; 43 suspicious person/vehicle and 20 welfare checks.
