Arrest Made In Sayreville Delta Gas Station Robbery; 2nd Suspect Remains At Large
At 8:44 p.m. Jan. 16, two men robbed the Delta gas station on Main Street, and sprayed the attendant with pepper spray.
SAYREVILLE, NJ — An arrest was made in connection with the Jan. 16 armed robbery of Delta gas station in Sayreville, police in that town announced Friday.
Charges have been filed against Fernando Ramos Garcia, 30, of South River.
The Delta gas station is located at 350 Main Street in Sayreville. At 8:44 p.m. Jan. 16, two men approached the gas station attendant. They sprayed him with pepper spray and stole the cash he had on him before they fled on foot toward Hillside Avenue.

Sayreville Police investigated and found a similar robbery had occurred in South River on January 2. Though a collaboration between Sayreville and South River police, Garcia was identified as one of the suspects.

Garcia was arrested Feb. 5 at his home in South River. He was charged with the following:
