Bass Pro Shop Holds Hiring Event Wednesday, Thursday For New Sayreville Store

They plan to hire more than 300 people for their new store, coming to the Riverton development in Sayreville. Here's how to apply:

SAYREVILLE, NJ — Bass Pro Shops seeks to hire more than 300 employees for its much-anticipated new store in Sayreville, which is scheduled to open this fall (opening month not announced yet).

Bass Pro Shops will hold a two-day hiring event Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

The hiring event will be held at the Sheraton Edison on Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Individuals who want to share their passion for the outdoors are encouraged to apply in advance by visiting basspro.com/careers and selecting the Sayreville location. After applying online, applicants should attend the hiring event, where on-site interviews will be conducted.

Their 200,000-square-foot Sayreville store will be the largest single-level Bass Pro Shop in the country.

The Sayreville Bass Prop Shop will be located within the Riverton complex, which is a 400-acre townhome community with a marina currently being built along the Raritan River and the mouth of Raritan Bay. Riverton will be located on Chevalier Avenue, right off the Sayreville exit from the Garden State Parkway south at the Driscoll Bridge. You will be able to see Riverton and the Bass Pro Shop as you drive over the Driscoll Bridge.

The Sayreville location will sell equipment and clothing for hiking, biking, backpacking, wildlife viewing, camping, and other related outdoor gear. The Sayreville store will have multiple aquariums, wildlife dioramas and free seasonal experiences that rotate with the seasons.

Construction on the Sayreville store is underway now, and a grand opening date will be announced soon.
