Board of Ed Thanks Rotary Club for Backpack and School Supply Donations

The Matawan Aberdeen Rotary Club was recognized at the Board of Education's regular action meeting last night.

Rotary to the district, each of which was filled with folders, pencils, notebooks, rulers, glue and colored pencils.

"The Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District greatly appreciates the genorous donation," Board of Education President Charles Kenny said. "We appreciate all that you do."

Kenny said the Rotary Club donates school supplies throughout the year, including giving dictionaries to students.

Roseann Trevean, president of the Rotary Club, accepted the certificate on behalf of the community service organization.
