Join Patricia Millen, directory of the Roebling Museum, as she discusses The Roebling Company and its contributions to the invention of the suspension bridge. She will address the company's innovations in steel and wire rope-making and talk about bridges made possible through its advances in suspension bridge engineering technology, including the Brooklyn Bridge and the George Washington Bridge. Ms. Millen also will bring some artifacts from the museum's study collection to demonstrate these innovations.
