Nosotros/Center for Immigrant Services will hold a public forum regarding immigration service scams on Aug.11 at 6 p.m. at 808 Main St. in Asbury Park.
A representative from the office of Attorney General Paula T. Dow’s office will be present to discuss how to avoid becoming a victim of these frauds, and what the government is doing to combat the growing trend of businesses that offer false services to the immigrant community.
The forum is free and open to the public, but seating is limited so please call 732-845-1911 to confirm your attendance. A representative from the Newark office of U.S. Customs and Immigrations will also be present.
