Parents of Special People, Inc. will host Hillary Freeman, Esq., of Freeman Law Offices, LLC for a lecture titled "Preparing Your Child for Life Beyond High School"

This workshop is designed to help parents of children with disabilities understand the process of transition to post-school life - in college or in the workplace. It will include the responsibilities of your local school districts and state agencies in facilitating a smooth transition into adulthood, as well as goals for transition, people and organizations to work with and suggested timelines for each step.
