Homes Destroyed In 3-Alarm Fire At Aberdeen Condo Complex Thursday
The fire started at 3 a.m. Thursday and spread to four condos at the Wyndham condominium complex off Rt. 34:
ABERDEEN, NJ — A three-alarm fire broke out early Thursday morning at the Wyndham condominiums in Aberdeen, according to Aberdeen Police Chief Matthew Lloyd and Township spokesman John Roman.
The fire started at 3:10 a.m. in a condo on the 40 block of Winchester Court in the condo complex off Rt. 34.
Two units were completely destroyed by the fire, and the fire spread to four condos total. Multiple families have been displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross, along with Aberdeen Twp. and Monmouth County OEM, are assisting with finding temporary housing for the victims.

However, there were no injuries to occupants or firefighters.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Aberdeen Police, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and the Monmouth County Fire Marshalls Office.

The fire was so big — and due to concerns about it spreading to many units in the closely-built condo complex — that mutual aid had to be called in from many surrounding Bayshore towns. The following all responded and helped out:
Matawan and Holmdel EMS, Bayshore EMS, Hackensack Meridian, Monmouth County Mobile Ambulance #6 and Keyport First Aid Fire, plus Aberdeen, Cliffwood, Matawan, Union Beach, Hazlet, Holmdel, Marlboro and Colts Neck volunteer fire companies.
