Hour-By-Hour Forecast For Monmouth County: Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain

Tuesday

Light snow is expected to begin this afternoon. Some sleet may also fall. About one to three inches of snow is expected. The chance of snow is 100 percent. Skies will be cloudy, and winds of 5 to 10 mph are expected.

Noon to 2 p.m.: 31 to 32 degrees, cloudy

3 p.m. to 6 p.m.: 32 degrees, cloudy, snow

7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: 32 degrees, wintry mix

11 p.m to midnight: 35 degrees, rain

Wednesday

Skies will be cloudy and there’s an 80 percent chance of rain. About a quarter of an inch of rain is expected to fall. Winds will be 5 to 10 mph.

1 a.m. to 9 a.m.: 36 to 41 degrees, rain and showers

10 a.m. to 3 p.m: 41 to 44 degrees, rain and showers

4 p.m. to midnight: 44 to 35 degrees, rain and showers

Thursday

Snow is expected to start falling around 1 a.m., when temperatures will be around 34 degrees. Snow will continue to fall throughout the morning Thursday, as temperature continue to drop, dipping to about 28 degrees by 9 a.m. There is a 90 percent chance of snow. Three to five inches of snow is expected. Winds will be 10 to 20 mph. Near record low temperatures are expected Thursday night, when the low will be around 11 degrees.
