Jersey Shore Huskies 12 '04 captures 2nd place in the Paul Rutch Tournament!!!
April 16, 2016 - The Jersey Shore Huskies 12u '04 continues to win and had a strong showing this past weekend at the Paul Rutch Tournament held in Matawan, NJ. The Huskies winter workout is paying off with several early wins in the All-Shore League to start the season.
During Friday night's practice, the girls showed intensity and determination and it paid off on Saturday. It was not an easy task as they faced great hitters from Staten Island and a scrappy team from Lacey.
Huskies pitchers Kacey Loughlin and Grace Olore pitched complete games for the wins and the rest of the Huskies played defense and timely hitting. The efforts placed them in the final, earning 2nd place overall. Great job all around and keep it going. GOOOO HUSKIESSSSS!!!!
