ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township Police Department made the following arrests June 1 through June 30, 2023:

On June 2nd, 2023 a 24-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with harassment following an incident on Idlebrook Lane. Ptl Evan Tyler was the arresting officer.

On June 4th, 2023 a 63-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.

On June 10th, 2023 a 37-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with aggravated assault following an incident on Cornell Way. Ptl. Martin Walsh was the arresting officer.

On June 10th, 2023 a 27-year-old male resident of Plainfield, NJ was charged with shoplifting following an incident at ShopRite food store. Det. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.

On June 12th, 2023 a 57-year-old female resident of Marlboro, NJ was charged with shoplifting following an incident at ShopRite food store. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.

On June 15th, 2023 a 35-year-old male resident of Woodbridge, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Lower Maini Street. Ptl. Christopher Shaw was the arresting officer.

On June 16th, 2023 a 33-year-old male resident of Woodbridge, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Woodbridge Township Municipal Court. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.

On June 20th, 2023 a 48-year-old male resident of Middletown, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Middletown Township Municipal Court. Ptl. Liam Gallagher was the arresting officer.

On June 20th, 2023 a 25-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident on State Highway 35. Ptl. Liam Gallagher was the arresting officer.

On June 25th, 2023 a 21-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with false public alarms following an incident on West Aspen Way. Det. Heather Ford was the arresting officer.

On June 26th, 2023 a 77-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. Marcus Neal was the arresting officer.

On June 26th, 2023 a 23-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Matawan Avenue. Ptl. Benjamin Cleaves was the arresting officer.

On June 26th, 2023 a 60-year-old female resident of Keyport, NJ and a 58-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ were charged both with aggravated assault following an incident on Brookside Avenue. Ptl. Christopher Vetter was the arresting officer.

It should be noted that all arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Officers responded to or initiated 1,373 calls for service between June 1st, and June 30th, 2023, including 43 motor vehicle accidents; 68 alarms (house/fire); 6 assaults; 5 burglary reports; 8 criminal mischief; 10 crisis interventions; 17 disorderly persons; 6 domestic disputes; 20 fire calls, 97 first aid calls; 8 frauds; 16 harassments; 1 M.V thefts; 0 narcotics; 15 thefts; 2 trespassing; 47 suspicious person/vehicle and 15 welfare checks.

Officers issued 170 summonses and conducted 382 motor vehicle stops.
