Keyport Man Accused Of Sex Assault At Tinton Falls Motel

This Keyport man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint last Thursday in a Tinton Falls motel:

TINTON FALLS, NJ — This Keyport man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint last Thursday in a Tinton Falls motel, after threatening to rob the woman of money, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.

Kareem Lee, 31, was charged with first-degree robbery, as well as first-degree aggravated sexual assault with an armed weapon.

At approximately 2:32 p.m. last Thursday, July 21, Tinton Falls police officers were dispatched to a local motel for a report of a sexual assault. Upon arrival, the female victim told officers that she had been sexually assaulted at gunpoint by a man who had entered the room.

During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Lee. He was apprehended and remains at the Monmouth County Jail.
