Narcan Save in Aberdeen Township
Aberdeen Township police had to administer Narcan to save a Keansburg woman's life earlier this month.

ABERDEEN, NJ - Aberdeen Township police had to administer Narcan to save a Keansburg woman's life earlier this month, they announced Monday.
On February 13, patrolman John Young responded to a call for a reported drug overdose at a home on Riverdale Drive. A 30-year-old Keansburg woman, in the area visiting a friend, had overdose on heroin, Chief John Powers said.
A male resident of Riverdale Drive called 911. Patrolman Young administered Narcan and the victim was revived and transported to Bayshore Community Hospital.

- On February 10 a resident of Ken Gardens, Matawan Ave., reported the theft of a package containing an item he had ordered.
- On February 21 the owner of a construction company reported the theft of a 30-yard dumpster valued at $4,000 from a construction site on Hwy. 34 near Cambridge Drive. The theft occurred sometime over the previous weekend.
