New Jersey Primary Voter Registration Deadline is May 17
You must be registered to vote in New Jersey by Tuesday, May 17.

New Jersey's primary voting day is Tuesday, June 7 and the Garden State is heating up to become a battleground in the Democratic primary. Are you registered to vote in New Jersey?
Bernie Sanders — with his campaign saying it can win by securing enough superdelegates — led rallies at Rutgers and in Atlantic City earlier this week. And Hillary Clinton is in Camden County Wednesday campaigning.
Important: The deadline to register to vote in the June 7 New Jersey primary is next week, Tuesday, May 17. If you are not registered to vote in New Jersey, download your voter application here and mail it in ASAP!

You may register to vote in Monmouth County as long as the following is complete:
- You are a citizen of the United States
- You are 18 years old before the next election
- You are not incarcerated, on parole, or on probation due to conviction for an indictable offense under any federal or state laws
- You are a Monmouth County resident 30 days prior to the election
Affiliated voters in the June 7 primary must vote along party lines (Republican or Democrat). Unaffiliated voters may declare which party they are voting for at their polling place on the day of the primary.

The deadline to apply for mail-in ballots is May 31.
