OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Released by Old Bridge Police on May 17, here are all of the arrests for the month of April:

The Old Bridge Township Police Department made the following arrests April 1, 2023 through April 30, 2023:

On April 1, 2023, Danny Olmo, a 44-year-old Parlin resident, was arrested and charged with Contempt. He was processed and turned over to the custody of the Perth Amboy Police Department. Officer Bucci was the arresting officer.

On April 1, 2023, a 25-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Simple Assault. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Petrides was the arresting officer.

On April 2, 2023, Carlos A. Rodriguez, a 24-year-old Keyport resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Traffic on Marked Lanes following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 35. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Rhoades was the arresting officer.

On April 3, 2023, a 46-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Harassment, Resisting Arrest, and Hindering Apprehension. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Goy and Sergeant Gougeon were the arresting officers.

On April 3, 2023, Deondra J. Jackson, a 21-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Contempt of a Judicial Order. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Walrond was the arresting officer.

On April 4, 2023, Christopher Sanchez, a 19-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested for an Old Bridge warrant. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer DeMaio was the arresting officer.

On April 4, 2023, a 21-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Simple Assault. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Rhoades was the arresting officer.

On April 5, 2023, Kerrie S. Bello, a 52-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Improper Passing and Possession of CDS following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 9 and Fairway Lane. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Ramm was the arresting officer.

On April 5, 2023, a 49-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the area of Route 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. The Narcotics Unit was responsible for the arrest.

On April 5, 2023, a 38-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected Heroin) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the area of Route 9. She was processed and released pending a court date. The Narcotics Unit was responsible for the arrest.

On April 6, 2023, Michael S. Vashey, a 57-year-old Hazlet resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Furman Boulevard. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On April 7, 2023, Kayla Marie Cacoilo, a 25-year-old Rahway resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 34. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Serpico was the arresting officer.

On April 7, 2023, Sahmad Bryant Wiggins, a 24-year-old Newark resident, was arrested for a warrant out of East Orange. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Benedict was the arresting officer.

On April 7, 2023, a 30-year-old Parlin resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence Simple Assault. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Gavares was the arresting officer.

On April 7, 2023, a 61-year-old Edison resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Harassment and Contempt of a Court Order. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Reck was the arresting officer.

On April 8, 2023, Ramon E. Camacho, a 56-year-old Avenel resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Traffic on Marked Lanes following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 9 and Schulmeister Road. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officers Gavares and Petrides were the arresting officers.

On April 9, 2023, Keshavapu Saggurthi, a 23-year-old Edison resident, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting at the Route 9 Walmart. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Goy was the arresting officer.

On April 9, 2023, Gopi K. Dirisala, a 22-year-old Edison resident, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting at the Route 9 Walmart. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Goy was the arresting officer.

On April 11, 2023, Alquan Malik Anderson, a 28-year-old East Orange resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Failure to Report a Motor Vehicle Accident, Responsibility in Accidents, Unregistered Vehicle, Open Container of Alcohol in Motor Vehicle, Refusal to Consent to Breath Sample, and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 9 and Poor Farm Road. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Spina was the arresting officer.

On April 11, 2023, Brian Flynn, a 49-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats following an incident on Fifth Street. He was processed and released pending a court date. Detective Hall was the arresting officer.

On April 13, 2023, Frank J. Zaitz, a 40-year-old Parlin resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the area of Route 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Rhoades was the arresting officer.

On April 13, 2023, a 61-year-old Edison resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Harassment and Contempt of a Court Order. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Rothmund was the arresting officer.

On April 14, 2023, a 29-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Simple Assault. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Tavares was the arresting officer.

On April 15, 2023, Cassel N. Smith, Jr., a 44-year-old Staten Island resident, was arrested and charged with Theft of Moveable Property in the area of Route 34. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On April 15, 2023, a 58-year-old homeless person was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Harassment. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Petrides was the arresting officer.

On April 16, 2023, a 38-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief with Damage. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Walsh was the arresting officer.

On April 17, 2023, Christine Paduch, a 42-year-old Howell resident, was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of Children. She was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Detective Hall was the arresting officer.

On April 18, 2023, a 54-year-old Phllipsburg resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Massa was the arresting officer.

On April 18, 2023, a 43-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Disorderly Conduct. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Anderson was the arresting officer.

On April 18, 2023, a 57-year-old Laurence Harbor resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Aggravated Assault with a Weapon, Criminal Mischief with Damage, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Hammel was the arresting officer.

On April 20, 2023, Micah A. Priester, a 29-year-old Neptune resident, was arrested and charged with 3rd degree Shoplifting from the CVS on Route 9. She was processed and remanded to the Ocean County Correction Center. Detective Haviland was the arresting officer.

On April 22, 2023, Josefina Vazques, a 53-year-old Freehold resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Failure to Observe a Traffic Signal, and Reckless Driving following a traffic stop on Route 9. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Perrone was the arresting officer.

On April 22, 2023, a 51-year-old Parlin resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Harassment. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Petrides was the arresting officer.

On April 23, 2023, Stevenson Jean Baptiste, a 35-year-old Freehold resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Unregistered Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Refusal to Consent to Breath Samples, and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 516. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Walsh was the arresting officer.

On April 23, 2023, Brandon Castro, a 20-year-old Perth Amboy resident, was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, Improper Passing, and warrants out of Woodbridge and Sayreville. He was processed and transferred to the custody of Woodbridge Police Department. Officer Janks was the arresting officer.

On April 23, 2023, a 35-year-old Matawan resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Harassment and Contempt of a Court Order. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Benedict was the arresting officer.

On April 24, 2023, Karin Omar Matzumura Ruiz, a 56-year-old Paterson resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (believed to be Oxy), Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Traffic on Marked Lanes following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On April 24, 2023, a 15-year-old Laurence Harbor juvenile was arrested and charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Mischief. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Petrides was the arresting officer.

On April 24, 2023, a 15-year-old Matawan juvenile was arrested and charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Mischief. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Petrides was the arresting officer.

On April 25, 2023, Steven Caldwell, a 70-year-old Bronx NY resident, was arrested and charged with Wrongful Impersonating, Exhibit False Documents as Proof of ID, and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card in the area of TD Bank on Route 516. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Miller was the arresting officer.

On April 25, 2023, Timoteo Rivera-Camarillo, a 39-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Carole Place. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Rhoades was the arresting officer.

On April 25, 2023, Eric D. Bournes, a 28-year-old Union resident, was arrested for a warrant out of Union Township. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Bolognese was the arresting officer.

On April 26, 2023, Gregory A. Badu, a 32-year-old Newark resident, was arrested for a N.J. State Police warrant. He was processed and turned over to the custody of the N.J. State Police. Officer Hartmann was the arresting officer.

On April 26, 2023, Jacquelin Erica Shortlidge, a 36-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested for a warrant out of Old Bridge. She was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Miller was the arresting officer.

On April 27, 2023, Dwayne J. Akal, an 18-year-old South Amboy resident, was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of a Handgun in the area of Laurence Parkway. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Nielsen was the arresting officer.

On April 27, 2023, Michael Leibowitz, a 51-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Theft in the area of Wawa on Route 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Rothmund was the arresting officer.

On April 28, 2023, Mark Brabant, a 56-year-old Jamesburg resident, was arrested and charged with Theft of Movable Property at the Route 18 Walmart. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Goy was the arresting officer.

On April 29, 2023, Victoria Seagriff, a 28-year-old Edison resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle accident in Marlboro. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Benedict was the arresting officer.

On April 29, 2023, a 40-year-old Matawan resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Criminal Mischief, Harassment, and Theft of Movable Property. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On April 30, 2023, Maickel J. Peck, a 34-year-old Monroe Township resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Traffic on Marked Lanes following a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On April 30, 2023, George Paul Dennis-Phillips, a 31-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected Xanax) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the area of Route 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Symanski was the arresting officer.

On April 30, 2023, a 46-year-old Laurence Harbor resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Simple Assault. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer J. Candurra was the arresting officer.

The names of defendants who are juveniles, involved in domestic violence incidents, or involved in ongoing investigations have been removed.

Officers responded to or initiated 4,385 calls for service between April 1st, 2023, and April 30th, 2023, including 170 motor vehicle accidents, 201 alarms, 392 first aid calls, 61 fire calls, 52 suspicious person/vehicles, and 66 welfare checks.
