Perth Amboy Man Charged With Manufacturing, Possessing Child Pornography: Officials

Officials arrested a Perth Amboy man on Thursday on charges of child pornography manufacturing and possession, Prosecutor Ciccone said.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ —A Perth Amboy man who had more than 1,000 child pornography files in his possession has been arrested, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.

Officers took Kevin Roman-Quinones, 21, into custody on Thursday, Ciccone and Perth Amboy Police Chief Lawrence Cattano said in a news release.

Roman-Quinones was charged with second-degree possession of child pornography and first-degree manufacturing child pornography, the news release said.

New Jersey State Police tipped off detectives in Ciccone's office, who began an investigation, the news release said.

The investigation is still active, and anybody with information is asked to call Detective Lojek of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at (732) 745-5924 or Detective Hueston of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at (732) 745-4268.

Roman-Quinones is in custody at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center.
