On September 3, Bharat Seth, a 33-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Traffic on Marked Lanes following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. On September 5, Deborah Christine Lyle, a 35-year-old Aberdeen resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, and Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle following a motor vehicle incident on Rt. 34. On September 8, Kobe Jordan Watts, a 22-year-old South Amboy resident, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Contempt, and Refusal to be Fingerprinted. On September 8, Sergio M. Pesantes, a 59-year-old Matawan resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, Refusal to Consent to Breath Samples, and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing, following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 516. On September 8, James B. Gray IV, a 58-year-old Monroe Township resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and DWI in a School Zone following a motor vehicle crash on Englishtown Road. Cross III, a 54-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Consumption of Alcohol by the Operator of a Vehicle, Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, Failure to Report MVA, Refusal to Consent to Breath Samples, and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing following a motor vehicle accident on Greenwood Road. On September 10, a 53-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence related Simple Assault. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Keller was the arresting officer.
On September 12, Roxanne Morgan Samuels, a 42-year-old Hazlet resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected methamphetamine), Possession of CDS (suspected Heroin), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 35. On September 13, Carlos R. Cruz, a 38-year-old Milltown resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle incident in Glenwood Apartments. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Micich was the arresting officer.
On September 13, Timothy F. Carriel, a 24-year-old Hackensack resident, was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Hindering Apprehension, Driving with a Suspended Driver's License, Failure to Observe a Traffic Signal, and Unlicensed Driver following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. On September 14 Shohrat Paltayev, a 48-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Responsibility in Accidents, Failure to Report MVA, Refusal to Consent to Breath Samples, and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing following a motor vehicle accident in Nieuw Amsterdam Apartments. On September 17 Justin Hernandez, a 23-year-old Perth Amboy resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Failure to Observe Traffic Signal, Use/Influence of CDS, Possession of CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 18. He was processed and remanded to Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Hammell was the arresting officer.
On September 20, Anthony A. Crawford, a 53-year-old Elizabeth resident, was arrested and charged with Driving with a Suspended Drivers License following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 35. On September 22 Kirk Hamilton, a 51-year-old New Brunswick resident was arrested for a warrant out of Old Bridge. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Tavares was the arresting officer.
On September 22 Karriem T. Lyons, a 44-year-old Spotswood resident, was arrested and charged with Distribution of CDS (suspected Crack Cocaine), Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of CDS 3rd degree, Possession of Certain Bullets, Purchase of Firearms, Committing a Drug Offense While Possessing a Firearm, Person Not To Have Weapons, Receiving Stolen Property, and Large Capacity Ammo Magazine. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. The Narcotics Bureau was responsible for the arrest.
On September 22 Mohamed Alphasallieu Diallo, 24-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Robbery by Force, Simple Assault, Shoplifting, and Criminal Mischief with Damage following an incident at Smokeland. On September 23 Stephanie Lee Maldonado, a 33-year-old Monmouth Junction resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Traffic on Marked Lanes following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 34. On September 23 Damien C. Williams, a 36-year-old Brooklyn resident, was arrested and charged with Traffic on Marked Lanes, He also had an outstanding warrant out of Brielle. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.
On September 25 Antonio Sierra Jr., a 45-year-old Perth Amboy resident, was arrested and charged with a Firearms Regulatory Violation. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Mandriota was the arresting officer.
On September 27 Tyson Hammary, a 39-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested for a warrant out of Old Bridge. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Rivera was the arresting officer.
On September 28 Jessica A. Thompson, a 32-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest and two counts of Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer following an incident outside Sammy D’s Bar. She was also processed for warrants out of East Brunswick and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Officer. She was remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. On September 28 Radhames Hernandez, a 39-year-old Jersey City resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Consume Alcohol by the Operator of a Vehicle, Refusal to Consent to Breath Samples, and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.
On September 29 Thomas Ernest Carter, Jr., a 59-year-old Lenoir, North Carolina resident was arrested and charged with Wrongful Impersonation, Exhibit False Documentation as Proof of ID, Forgery, Forged Writing, and Theft by Deception following an incident at TD Bank. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Reck was the arresting officer.
On September 30 Jonatham A. Ortiz-Garcia, a 39-year-old Jersey City resident, was arrested and charged with Traffic on Marked Lanes, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, Unlicensed Driver following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. He also had an outstanding warrant out of Elizabeth. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.
All arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The names of defendants who are juveniles, involved in domestic violence incidents, or involved in ongoing investigations have been removed.
Old Bridge Police officers responded to or initiated 4,250 calls for service in September, including 183 motor vehicle accidents, 179 alarms, 333 first aid calls, 15 fire calls, 117 suspicious person/vehicles and 98 welfare checks.
