State Police Choppers Out Tuesday Morning Combing Sayreville/Old Bridge For Missing Man

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, a State Police helicopter is flying very low in Old Bridge/Sayreville as a young man on the spectrum is missing:

SAYREVILLE, NJ — As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, a State Police helicopter is currently flying very low over the Sayreville, Old Bridge and Aberdeen area, as the search continues for a missing young man who is on the autism spectrum.

The public may also see police dogs and ATVs in the area, warned Sayreville Police Tuesday morning.

The helicopter will be seen in the area throughout the day Tuesday.

"Jonathan (Misak) has still not returned home and we are utilizing any and all equipment at our disposal," said Sayreville Police Tuesday morning.

"Sayreville, we need your help," the police posted to Facebook on Monday. "Jonathan left his home located in the Main Street Town homes yesterday, (Sunday, Sept 25) around 3:30 p.m. after having an argument with a family member. Jonathan is on the autism spectrum and is high functioning. He was last seen wearing a blue Denver Broncos t-shirt with an orange logo."
