Suspect Sketch Released In Old Bridge Child Luring Attempt
Still no arrest, but on Thursday Old Bridge police released this sketch of the suspect in the June 29 QuickChek luring attempt of two boys.

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Police have not made an arrest in the incident last week where a man attempted to lure two young boys in Laurence Harbor, but on Thursday Old Bridge police released this composite sketch of the suspect. The sketch was done by the NJ State Police.
The widely-reported incident happened the Thursday before the July 4th holiday weekend in Laurence Harbor: A man attempted to lure two boys at the Quick Check on Cliffwood Avenue, Old Bridge police said. He tried to buy snacks for the two children and then tried to take them to his car by offering them hats and fidget spinners. One of the boys felt uncomfortable and notified the store staff. As the staff intervened, the suspect insisted the children were going with him. The suspect left the store after being told to do so by staff.
He left the area in a white Toyota, possibly a Corolla. The suspect is described as a thin, white male in his late twenties or thirties. He was wearing a gold Yankees hat, sunglasses, and a red Nike t-shirt. He was described as having brown scruff on his face as if he was unshaven.
