Teen Broke Into Woman's Home, Sexually Assaulted Her In Sayreville: PD
A Sayreville youth, 16, is accused of breaking into a woman's apartment Sunday night and sexually assaulting and robbing her:
SAYREVILLE, NJ — On Sunday night, a 16-year-old Sayreville teen boy broke into a woman's apartment, sexually assaulted her and then stole items from her home before fleeing, allege Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Acting Sayreville Police Chief Daniel Plumacker.
The juvenile teen boy, whose name was not released due to his age, has been taken into custody. He was charged with an act of juvenile delinquency for offenses which if committed by an adult would be aggravated sex assault, sex assault, burglary and theft.
The attack happened between midnight and 12:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, said the prosecutor: The teen entered the 68-year-old woman's apartment on Swider Drive in the Parlin section, woke her, sexually assaulted her and stole unspecified belongings before fleeing the scene.

Police did not say how he got into the home.
