OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Old Bridge Police say they are working with Tinton Falls Police because members of what's known as the "Felony Lane Gang" have been operating in Central New Jersey.
The blonde woman pictured in the second photo is accused of passing a bad check at the TD Bank in Old Bridge on Nov. 10, 2022. She used the identification of a woman whose purse was stolen from her car in Tinton Falls, said Old Bridge Police. It has also been reported that she did the same crime — passing bad checks using stolen identities — in nine other surrounding New Jersey communities, said police.
The woman, identified as Sian Gledhill, was taken into police custody in Indiana in this Jan. 20 arrest. She is wanted on numerous warrants in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Felony Lane Gang
Old Bridge Police say they suspect all the women are part of the "Felony Lane Gang."
According to this USA Today profile from 2020, the Felony Lane Gang started in Florida 10 years ago and has specifically "been targeting moms across the country for years." The gang admitted they target parking lots where people will be away from their cars for a significant amount of time —such as gym or mall parking lots, or a park where children’s sports games are being played.
After making sure cars are left alone for long periods of time, the men in the Felony Lane Gang do "smash 'n grabs," where they break car windows and steal purses, said Old Bridge Police.
The women in the gang will steal any cash, credits cards or checks found, or will write checks to themselves if they find a checkbook in the woman's purse. The women "often wear wigs while sitting in the farthest drive-thru lane to avoid detection – which is where the Felony Lane Gang gets its name from," said Old Bridge Police.
