Verizon Facility in Aberdeen Robbed Twice
Copper wire stolen from Rt. 34 facility twice in one week.

Aberdeen, NJ - The Verizon facility on Highway 34 was robbed of copper wire not once, but twice in one week, township police report.
Several rolls of copper wire were first reported stolen on January 28, Aberdeen police said.
Then on February 1, it was reported that sometime over the weekend someone again took several spools of copper wire from the facility.

Metal thefts are common, as scrap metal prices have dramatically increased in recent years. While copper prices are leveling off, the wire thefts are still common.
