Woman Hit By Car On Rt. 9 In Old Bridge, Dragged 100 Feet
This happened Monday evening at an NJ Transit bus park and ride. The pick-up that hit her fled the scene. The woman is recovering.

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A woman was hit and dragged 100 feet near a bus park and ride on Rt. 9 in Old Bridge Monday night. The driver who hit her fled the scene and remains at large as of Thursday, said the Middlesex County Prosecutor.
The woman survived the incident.
According to authorities, she was struck by a black Dodge Ram pick-up truck as she was crossing the street at the NJ Transit bus park and ride at the Meleta Way overpass at 7:49 p.m. Monday.

She appeared to be dragged by the pick-up approximately 100 feet before the truck fled the scene.
Authorities transported her to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, the closest trauma unit, where she remains being treated for her injuries.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help. They are looking for a black, four-door, Dodge Ram pick-up truck.
The pick-up was last seen driving past the Power House gym, located at 1091 Rt. 9 in Parlin.
