The Chester Lioness Club wants to help college-bound students in the Mendhams and Chesters, offering its annual $1,000 scholarship to candidates from the area.

Criteria for the scholarship include academic record, classroom, and extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership and service.
Financial need is also a consideration.

The scholarships are available to both public and private school students.
Applications for the scholarship can be obtained from the West Morris Mendham and West Morris Central High School College Resource Centers. Completed forms must be returned to the College Resource Center by March 27.
