After-School Activities Canceled In Mendham Borough Due To Storm
All after-school activities have been canceled due to Monday's impending storm.
MENDHAM BOROUGH, NJ — Due to the upcoming storm, Mendham Borough School District has canceled all after-school activities on Monday, the district announced.
The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms, heavy rains, hail and isolated tornadoes to hit the Garden State on Monday afternoon.
All New Jersey counties were under a hazardous weather outlook, citing severe thunderstorms possible later in the day.

Heavy rain is expected to begin falling in northwestern New Jersey between 3 and 5 p.m., according to NWS.

Today: Showers and thunderstorms are possible, followed by showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 5 p.m. Severe storms with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain are possible. The temperature will be around 77 degrees. Winds from the south at 5 to 10 mph. The likelihood of precipitation is 80 percent.
Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly before 10 p.m. Some of the storms have the potential to be severe. Low around 55 degrees. Winds from the west at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph. The likelihood of precipitation is 80 percent.
