Cheers In Chester Benefit Event Pours Into Town This Summer
More than 100 craft brews and an array of wine samples will be flowing for a good cause this summer. The outdoor event, now in its fifth year, will take place on July 23, 2022, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Chester Municipal Field on Chester Borough's Main Street as a fundraiser for Chester's Volunteer First Aid Squad.

Brookside Beach Opens This Weekend In Mendham
As summer is approaching, Brookside Beach in Mendham Township is celebrating the opening of its 2022 summer season this Saturday. The beach will be open only on weekends this year until June 13, when it will be open every day. Except on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when they stay open until 7:30 p.m., the hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Girl Scouts Of Northern NJ Announce Seasonal Jobs In Mendham
The Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey have announced that they are now accepting applications for seasonal positions at the Jockey Hollow Camp in Mendham. Girl Scout Camp is open from July 5 to August 19, and all employees are required to attend mandatory staff training the week of June 27.
Local Mendham Church Prepares For Annual Mission Trip
More than 50 teens and 22 chaperones from Saint Joseph Church in Mendham will travel to Paintsville, Kentucky, this summer as part of the parish's annual Teen Appalachia Mission Trip. From June 19 to June 25, the teens will be collaborating with the Good Neighbors organization to assist local working families with much-needed home improvements.

The Mendham Township Police Department will increase its presence at schools across the state, officials announced, after a gunman killed at least 19 students and 2 adults at a Texas elementary school on Tuesday.
Free Ice Cream For 'Cops-Kids-Cones' Event In Mendham
Following the success of previous years, Cops Kids and Cones is back in the Mendhams for 2022. The ice cream social will be held at the Ralston playground parking lot on Tuesday, May 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Police officers from the Mendham Township police department will be on hand to serve up scoops and talk about safety with local children.
