
The Chester Day celebration is back this Saturday May 11 for a day of community clean up service projects and free family friendly activities.
The day features a home town parade down Main Street at 11 a.m., activities, music an old fashioned picnic lunch throughout the day, a vintage baseball game, a 5K race sponsored by the Educational Foundation of the Chesters, and more.
Kids can decorate their bike or scooter and march in the parade or walk wearing your team, scout or organization shirt, all ages welcome to participate.

Another component of Chester Day is a service one. Those interested Chester in participating in a clean-up project can contact the recreation director Maxine Finney via e-mail.
