Chester Spring Stampede, Color Fun Run Returning
The Educational Foundation of the Chesters will host a 5K and family color fun run this weekend.
CHESTER, NJ — Chester residents can sign up now for the Spring Stampede 5K and Color Fun Run, both scheduled for Saturday at the Gazebo at Municipal Field, 155 Main Street, Chester. The event is hosted by The Educational Foundation of the Chesters, according to the race listing.
The 5K is listed at $45, and is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. The Color Fun Run is listed at $25 is set to begin at 10 a.m.
All 5K racers will get a participation medal, and those who registered early (before March 13) will receive a performance race shirt.

Organizers said that kids and families can run through a one-mile course "while being doused with all the colors of the rainbow." Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Participants can stay for post-color fun run ice cream, sponsored by Meadowbrook Country Day Camp.
