Chester Clean-Up
Around 15.8 inches of snow was dropped on Chester this weekend, and final plowing and salting ended around 9 a.m. Monday, according to Township mayor Tim Drag.
Drag added that cul-de-sacs can be tricky to plow, and anyone whose driveway was snowed in can leave a message at 908-879-0059 for assistance.
Additionally, anyone whose mailbox was damaged due to plowing should contact MNowicki@chestertownship.org to report the damage and get on the repair list.
“The roads are in great shape considering the storm, but please stay cautious,” Drag said. “Snowbanks—especially at intersections—are very high, in some cases higher than a car. Take it slow and stay safe.”
