Chester Teachers Get New Contract

They've been working without one since July 2016.

CHESTER, NJ— After working nearly six months without a contract, the Chester Education Association and Board of Education have finally settled on one.

The only contract expired July 2016, and negotiations took until Thursday's Board meeting to be finalized. The new contract will be retroactive, adn go until June 2019.

Teachers will see a 2.75% salary increase per year, increased tuition
