Holiday Home Crowned Best Of 2022 In Mendham Borough

MENDHAM, NJ — A new home decorated for the holidays was named the crowd favorite in this year's holiday light competition, according to the Borough of Mendham Recreation Committee.

Following a review process, one home was selected and awarded the title of best holiday curb appeal as part of the borough's fifth annual Holiday Home Decorating Contest.

According to the recreation committee, the winning home for 2022 is 87 Hampshire Drive.

The contest criteria established by the committee for the “Best Holiday Curb Appeal” was:

• overall presentation of the home and landscape.
• animated objects
• display and placement of decorations
• a storyline or theme
• creative use of lights and decorations
• a combination of unique design

The committee expressed their excitement about the 2023 Holiday Home Decorating Contest and encourages participants to enter the upcoming Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day Home Decorating Contests in February and March 2023.
