Music Festival In Chester Returns With Variety Of Music, Food, Beer
The Chester Municipal Field will soon be alive with musical performances as the third annual Chester Music Festival is set to take place this summer. The all-day music festival will take place on Aug. 6 from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 134 Main St. in Chester. The festival will also include fun activities for children such as The Kiddie Rock 'n' Roll Show from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., as well as face painting, balloon art and games throughout the day.
$10K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Morris Co. Deli
Two tickets, including one sold in Morris County, for the Friday, July 8 Mega Millions drawing won the third-tier prize. That Morris County ticket won the third-place prize and it matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn, winning the $10,000 prize, said the NJ state Lottery.
'Moving Wall' Replica Of Vietnam Memorial Draws Thousands Of Attendees
By the time closing ceremonies were held this morning at the County College of Morris, nearly 5,000 residents of Morris County and beyond had visited "The Moving Wall" Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The Moving Wall, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., was set up at the County College of Morris in Randolph and is half the size of the one in D.C. It's one of two traveling versions that have navigated the United States since 1984.

3 Teens Charged Following Crash Of Stolen Car In Morris County
A stolen car crashed into a utility pole and caught fire during an attempted traffic stop on Route 53 south early Wednesday morning, according to police. Following the crash, three Essex County teenagers were arrested and charged with the unlawful taking of a means of conveyance and resisting arrest before being released to family members pending a future court date.

Officers from the Chester Township Police Department handled more than 4,600 incidents during the months of May and June. According to police, there were 58 traffic accidents investigated. Officers responded to 118 calls requesting assistance from the First Aid Squad and 32 calls requesting assistance from the Fire Department.
