Mendham High School Seniors Growing Food For Those In Need

MENDHAM, NJ - Matthew Borinshtey and Matthew Goldgrish have put their green thumbs to work in order to help the Chester Food Pantry.

The Matts founded The Sharing Project to grow and deliver fresh organic produce to families in need. According to their Facebook page, they get fresh healthy food through a partnership of high schoolers with local gardening and farming communities.

Their work caught the attentiion of Mendham Township Committeewoman who went for a visit.

"It was pleasure to tour Matt Borinshteyn's backyard garden, with his mom and supporter, Natalia," Duarte said. "This is one of several sites where they are growing produce, with the help of volunteers, to donate to the Chester Food Pantry."
