The TCS London Marathon was first launched in 1981 and has become one of the largest and most celebrated marathons in the world. The race attracts elite athletes, charity runners, and amateur competitors alike, with participants traveling internationally to take part in the 26.2-mile course through the streets of London.
The marathon is also known for its charitable fundraising impact, regularly generating millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations each year.
