Mendham Track Stars Win School's First Large NJAC Championship
Season of winning continues for girls track team.

After another Penn Relays medal in the 4x400 event, the Mendham High School girls track team was back at it again, this time notching a piece of history for the program.
For the first time in school history, the Mendham ladies won the large School Track & Field NJAC Championship held at Morris Hills High School last week, accumulating 70 points. Their closest competitor, Roxbury, had 58 points.
Sierra Tonneson won both the 400-meter sprint and 400-meter hurdles. Audrey O’Neill won the 200-meter dash and came in second in the 400-meter hurdles.

Junior Julia Mszanski took third in the pole vault with a height of 10’6”, and senior Maggie Wadley tied for second in the long jump with a distance of 10’5”.
Katie Wisotsky came in third in the discus with a throw of 107’1”.

The girls now test their mettle at the Morris County Championships this week, with the East Coast Relays and State Sectionals next week, followed by the Group 3 Championships to end May.
