More Human Trafficking Charges For Mount Olive Man: Prosecutor

During their investigation, police learned of a second victim, prosecutors said.

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ— A Mount Olive man charged with human trafficking has been charged with new counts after a police investigation revealed more victims, the Morris County Prosecutor's office said.

Michael Keenan, 23, was charged this week with human trafficking, prostitution, and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was first arrested on Nov. 23 when police discovered he had been acting as a pimp for a 17-year-old girl.

During that investigation, police learned of a second teenage girl. The girl told police Keenan would take her to hotels, where she would act as a prostitute. Keenan would take a cut of all of her payments.

The Dec. 8 charges are in addition to his previous two charges: human trafficking and promoting prostitution.

Keenan is being held on $250,000.
