Looking to be in nature AND enjoy some live music? Schiff's Music in the Woods is an outdoor event in the Amphitheatre. Backer Farm food truck will be on site offering snacks (hot dogs, chicken tenders, hummus, hand cut fries, donuts, popcorn, and more!!) Grab a pillow for stadium bench seating comfort, and wear comfortable walking shoes for the 20 minute walk up into the beautiful woods of the preserve. We will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music and community featuring adult contemporary singer-songwriter and harpist, Kristy Chmura. Kristy delivers songs from an honest emotional space. Her voice has been described as haunting, emotive, and "like a tone caught between a bottomless abyss and heaven."(Randy Radic, HuffPost). Releasing her debut solo album in 2018, "Stained...Glass Heart", her music has been described by many as mesmerizing, full of grace, and alive with intimate lyricism. Former editor of Musician Magazine,Vic Garbarini, states artist, Kristy Chmura, is ""...Highly recommended!""Advance ticket purchases are required. No walk in ticket sales. Parking is limited, so carpooling is strongly suggested. Fully vaccinated guests, please have masks in hand. Unvaccinated guests are asked to wear masks. Plan to arrive no later than 3:30 pm to hike to the Ampitheatre. All ages. Member fee is $20. Non-member fee is $25. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support Schiff and the musicians.
