Music in the Woods Returns to Schiff

July 31's show will feature Pyrenesia

Looking to be in nature AND enjoy some live music? Schiff's Music in the Woods is a unique outdoor opportunity for community, nature, and music all blended together for a lovely afternoon in the Amphitheatre. Bring your snacks, (adult) beverages, and perhaps a pillow for stadium bench seating comfort, wear comfortable walking shoes for the 20 minute walk up into the beautiful woods of the preserve. We will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music and community featuring Pyrenesia. Pyrenesia is a swing quartet founded on the banks of the Delaware River, combining original compositions and singer-songwriter melodies with the Django Reinhardt-inspired tradition of gypsy jazz. They've performed at some of the area's top venues and their album "Off-Beat Symphony" was named one of 2019's top ten albums by NJ Spotlight. Prolific composers and performers, Pyrenesia released a follow-up EP "On and On" in 2021 and continues to deliver foot-stomping, dress-swirling, hand-clapping experiences to lift spirits and transport listeners to a musical landscape as vast as the Pyrenees mountains are high.Advance ticket purchases are required. Parking is limited, so carpooling is strongly suggested. Guests are asked to have masks in hand. Plan to arrive at 3:30 pm to hike to the Amphitheatre. All ages. Member fee is $20. Non-member fee is $25. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support Schiff and the musicians. This event will occur shy of rain or thunderstorms. Refunds will automatically be processed in the event of a cancellation.
