Music in the Woods at Schiff - Pyrenesia featuring Alex Radus

Final concert of 2021

Looking to be in nature AND enjoy some live music? Schiff's Music in the Woods is an outdoor event in the Amphitheatre. Bring some snacks and a beverage, grab a pillow for stadium bench seating comfort, and wear comfortable walking shoes for the 20 minute walk up into the beautiful woods of the preserve. We will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music and community featuring Pyrenesia-featuring Alex Radus; a gypsy-swing-jazz-folk quartet based in the beautiful river town Lambertville, NJ. Combining original compositions with the Django Reinhardt tradition of gypsy jazz, Eastern European and klezmer melodies, and anything else that swings, Pyrenesia delivers a foot-stomping, dress-swirling, hand-clapping experience to lift spirits and transport listeners to a musical landscape as vast as the Pyrenees mountains are high.Advance ticket purchases are required. No walk in ticket sales. Parking is limited, so carpooling is strongly suggested. Fully vaccinated guests, please have masks in hand. Unvaccinated guests are asked to wear masks. Plan to arrive at 3:30 pm to hike to the Amphitheatre. All ages. Member fee is $20. Non-member fee is $25. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support Schiff and the musicians. This event will occur shy of rain or thunderstorms. Refunds will automatically be processed in the event of a cancellation.
