Schiff Nature Preserve is hosting a viewing party on Saturday night August 12 from 8:30-10 pm and it is open to both members and non-members... Hike up to the great meadow for a perfect view of this year's Perseid meteor shower! The Perseid meteor shower is one of the most anticipated celestial events in the Northern Hemisphere. The shooting stars will be easy to view without a telescope, peaking the night of the 12th! Bring a picnic blanket and a snack and enjoy this special night at Schiff with friends and family.
