Students Celebrate Grandparents at St. Joseph School in Mendham

Annual event draws more than 100 grandparents to school.

What’s better than a fun day at school? Spending it with grandma and grandpa, of course!

St. Joseph School in Mendham did just that recently, celebrating Grandparents’ Day by inviting family members into the school to join students in the classroom. During their time in the building, grandparents were invited to participate in lessons and share stories of what life was like when they attended school.

Grandparents were also invited to attend the May Crowning in the church led by the school’s 8th grade class. More than 120 grandparents took part in the day.
