MORRIS COUNTY, NJ - After months of battling through the COVID-19 pandemic, a hard fought victory was won in Morris County as both Saint Clare's hospitals were declared COVID-19 free Wednesday, according to officials.

"You can rest assured that we have taken ALL the safety and precaution steps to protect you and those you love," the medical group posted to social media. "Don’t delay your health care."

After the announcement was made, Saint Clare's Denville Hospital held a candlelight vigil to support, honor, and provide comfort to the families and caregivers directly affected by COVID-19 at the hospital.

The event featured staff, patients and music. Administrative Director of Nursing Andrea Lotosky also spoke to those assembled outside the hospital.

"I can stand here with such pride and confidently say that no patient suffered alone or passed on alone," she said.
