West Morris Mendham High School International Baccalaureate (IB) Boosters to host speaker on the International Baccalaureate Program & its Benefits.

The IB talk, set for Monday, October 27, at 6 pm at Mendham High School, 65 E Main Street, Mendham is geared for students (7-11) and parents

On Monday, October 27th, from 6:00 to 6:45 pm at the West Morris Mendham High School, students in grades 7-11 and their parents are cordially invited to hear Mr. Peter Van Buskirk speak on the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, its value for the student, and its impact on a college applicant’s participation in the selective college admission process.

Peter van Buskirk is nationally recognized and a 35-year veteran of the selective college admissions process and former Dean of Admission at Franklin & Marshall College. He is the founder of College Best Fit and helps students in the college planning and admissions process.

The IB talk is geared for students and their parents. For the Middle School students you will learn about the IB Program, which is important to know now, as it will influence the course curriculum entering High School for interested students. For High School Freshmen and Sophomores you will learn the value of the IB Program, and for High School Juniors already in the IB Program you will learn about how colleges view the IB credentials and its impact on the selective college admissions process.
