• Metuchen Drops Hillside Avenue Bike Lane After Resident Pushback (patch.com) — Metuchen officials have canceled the planned Hillside Avenue bike lane and a May demonstration project after strong resident feedback about parking, accessibility, and safety. The borough will instead look for other ways to connect neighborhoods, Grove Avenue’s upcoming bike lane, and the Metuchen Train Station while also reviewing speeding concerns on Hillside Avenue. Residents are encouraged to keep sharing input as plans evolve.
